Fertilizer

Local soil in the New River Valley doesn’t contain the necessary nutrients to provide the type of rich, healthy, and sustainable surface that beautiful turf requires. Our lawn care program includes scheduled fertilizer and weed control treatments on top of routine soil sampling to determine the most beneficial products to use on your property.

We analyze the soil’s fertility, pH level, and micro-nutrient makeup and then treat your lawn accordingly. Treatments are spread out over the course of the year and are broken out into individual applications to build soil structure and chemistry.

Contact us today for a free turf soil test and pair your turf applications with mowing to get the best looking yard in your neighborhood.

Pre & Post emergent crabgrass and broadleaf weed

Weeds, particularly crabgrass and broadleaf weeds, can quickly invade and spoil the appearance of your lawn. To keep your lawn healthy and weed-free, it’s essential to implement effective weed control measures. Pre and post emergent herbicides are two key strategies used in weed management. In this section, we’ll explore the benefits of pre and post emergent herbicides for controlling crabgrass and broadleaf weeds in your lawn, and provide you with tips for successful application

Grub Control

Grubs are the larval stage of beetles, such as Japanese beetles and June beetles, and can cause extensive damage to lawns by feeding on the roots of grass, resulting in brown patches and weakened turf. If left unchecked, grub infestations can quickly spread and devastate your lawn. In this section, we’ll discuss the importance of grub control and provide you with tips on how to identify, prevent, and treat grub infestations to keep your lawn healthy and vibrant.

Fungicides

Fungal diseases can wreak havoc on your lawn, causing unsightly patches of dead or diseased grass, weakening the turf, and creating an ideal environment for further disease development. In this section, we’ll discuss the importance of fungicide lawn applications and provide you with tips on how to identify, prevent, and treat common fungal diseases to maintain a healthy and lush lawn.

Lime & Micronutrients

In addition to soil pH, micronutrients are essential for the health and growth of turf grasses. Micronutrients, such as iron, manganese, zinc, and copper, are required in small amounts but play a crucial role in various metabolic processes in grass plants. Deficiencies in micronutrients can result in yellowing or stunted growth of grass, reduced vigor, and increased susceptibility to diseases and stress. Lawn applications of micronutrients can help address these deficiencies and promote optimal turf health.
